Privacy Policy

Who we are

Meteorra AI is a creator intelligence tool operated by Pranay Mahulikar, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this service. For data-related enquiries, please use the contact form.

What data we collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

  • Email address — when you create an account, used to identify your account and send service-related messages.
  • Usage data — pages visited and features used, collected anonymously via our own internal tracking (no third-party analytics).
  • Session identifiers — temporary identifiers stored in your browser to manage your session and enforce usage limits.
  • Content you submit — content ideas, YouTube URLs and other inputs you provide to generate results. These are processed to deliver the service and are not stored long-term.

We do not collect payment card data directly. Payments are handled by our payment processor.

Why we collect it (legal basis)

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the Meteorra AI service to you.
  • Legitimate interests — to understand how the service is used and to improve it, in a way that does not override your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where required by applicable law.

How long we keep it

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for longer. Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days for operational purposes.

International data transfers

Meteorra AI is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure includes servers in the United States. Vercel participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and implements EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection consistent with GDPR requirements.

Data sharing and third parties

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as our hosting provider, Vercel), who are contractually bound to process data only as instructed.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — ask us to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to restriction — ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these rights, please use the contact form. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY) at imy.se.

Terms of Service

Acceptance

By accessing or using Meteorra AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Meteorra AI is a creator intelligence platform that provides pre-publish audience analysis, metadata recommendations and discoverability scoring for content creators on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Usage tiers and pricing

  • Free (guest) tier — up to 3 uses per feature without an account, enforced via browser cookies. No signup required.
  • Paid tier — 30 combined uses across all features for $5 USD. Uses are shared across the Generate and YouTube Analyser tools.

Prices are stated in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your location. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

No guarantee of results

Meteorra AI provides AI-generated suggestions and analysis to help inform your content strategy. We do not guarantee any specific results including views, subscribers, followers or revenue. Platform algorithms change frequently and outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Your content

You retain full ownership of any content ideas, inputs and materials you submit to Meteorra AI. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits through automated means, scraping or by creating multiple accounts.
  • Submit content that is harmful, illegal, defamatory or infringes the rights of others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or are misusing the service. Paid credits that have not been used will be refunded on a pro-rata basis if your account is terminated by us without cause.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meteorra AI and Pranay Mahulikar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Cookie Policy

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar browser storage to make the service work correctly.

Cookies we use

Essential cookies — always active

  • Session cookie — set by NextAuth.js to keep you logged in during your visit. Expires when you close your browser or log out.
  • Guest usage cookie — a cookie used to track free-tier usage for visitors without an account. Prevents abuse of the free tier. Contains no personal data.

Analytics — none

We do not use third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics). We track page views using our own internal system, which stores only anonymous session identifiers in your browser's sessionStorage (not cookies). This data is not shared with any third party.

Marketing / advertising — none

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies of any kind.

How to opt out

Because we only use essential cookies, opting out of cookies will affect the functioning of the service:

  • You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
  • Blocking the session cookie will log you out and prevent you from staying signed in.
  • Blocking the guest usage cookie will reset your free-tier usage count each visit, but the service will still function.

To manage cookies, visit your browser's privacy or security settings. Instructions vary by browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

Changes to this policy

If we introduce any new cookies in future, we will update this policy and notify users where required by law. The date at the top of the Legal page reflects when this policy was last updated.
